I havn't been going crazy but I am slightly ahead, it was those firsdt few days that did it and writing a little every other day helps. This is so awsome, and so much more fun than anyother year.

Anyway, something really great has happened, a certain person has gone on holidays at work. Leaving us to do whatever the heck we want! Woohoo, today despite having more children than ever and not being able to go outside. We had a really awsome organised day, it ran brilliantly because we did it how we wanted. The next two weeks is going to be fun.

Ohhh adn it's my birthday on Sunday, Trev won't tell me what is going on but I wasn't allowed to have any plans on Saturday or Sunday. I'm excited.

Nano starts this Thursday!

I have a NOVEL that is kickboxing with the inside of my head, trying to get out. And I am determined to let it out. I have no idea what it's called, but I do have characters and a fairly good plotline that needs work.

HI!!!!

Well hell, it's been nearly a whole year, I randomly thought of posting in this dusty old thing again when Nano started creaping up on me again and why not.

I've been living in SA at Trev's place for the past year, I'm still working at that very same place I applied for a few days after I arrived here and it's a prety good centre.

Let's see whats been happening with me, In random order...

*Went to see Linkin Park a few weeks ago, they were @#$*ing awsome!!!
*Got 2 Black Moore Fishies, one called Bobbles and one called Logan, unfortunatly Bobbles died, and we replaced him with Bobbles the 2nd, who also died, so we gave up :( But, Logan still lives and I he is kewt.
*Got moved from working Full time in the toddler room, to casual throughout the centre, to full time in the Kindy room, back to casual throughout the centre, Back to full time in the toddler room, back to full time in the Kindy room....geez make up your mind Boss lady :P
*Went to the Royal Adelaide show which was awsome fun, went on heaps of rides ate myself sick and bought heaps of showbags!
*lost nearly 5 kilo's while particitating in out work place "10 week challange" See my results here: http://nicolareed.traineo.com/
*Got a Wii, but the games are so expensive we only have wii sports, legends of zelda and My Sims.
* My parents come to visit about a month or so ago and it was so good to spend some time with them after so long of not seeing them (long time for me). It was fun showing them our house and the sights, beaches, gardens etc.
*My friend is about to have a baby, (like any minuite now) 0.o and I'm so excited for her.
*I met my relatives who live here in Adelaide, who I have only seen once when I was a tiny baby, and they are soooo nice, they're my dad's cousins.
*I've become obsessed with Bento's which are Japaneese Lunch Boxes, and have gotten two from the internet (I will post pics sometime)
*dug out a vegie garden, which was really hard work and we are now growing, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, carrots, nugget pumpkin, beetroot, radish gods (hehe,personal joke), strawberries and baby corn!! Woot!

Anyway thats all I can think of right now, as of November 1st I will be participating in Nanowrimo so hopefuly I'll win this time, and will post my results here as I go, wish me good luck everyone!

OMG HERE I AM!

Just thought I would check in and tell you all what is going on with me...

I've just turned 22 (11th Nov)! ^_^

I have compleated my Diploma! ~^_^~

I have moved to South Australia! O.o

I am on the verge of getting a real full time job in child care O.O


Yay so much stuff!


I have had a very emotional past few months. Since I knew I would be moving to SA with Trev after I finished Tafe, It always seemed so far away. But now here I am. It still doesn't feel like im actually living here now, it just feels like im going to go away back home soon after a visit. And thats not saying I don't want to be here.

I seriously love it here!

Its so god damned beautiful everywhere you look and even in the middle of summer its not really that hot. ^_^

So tafe was winding up and I had my final placement at a childcare centre in Albury, it was great, I was working in the infants room with some gerorgous kids and had a ball. I managed to get through the work load and boss everyone around in the last week without falling in a heap. Then I had the next couple of weeks with nothing to do but pack and begin to realise I was moving away.

After we moved from the apartement in Lavington we went down to my parents house for a few more weeks and the parties began. Drinking with kris and his friends, Trev's parents came down for a visit to help relocate our stuff and Adam and Kate came around for dinner. It was all good fun.

Saying goodbye is harder than I thought it would be, especially when the morning came that we would leave my parents house off to Melbourne (a small holliday before SA). My mum started crying as she told me she wasn't going to cry and I reminded her I would be seeing her when I coume down for my gradauation in Feb-Mar. As we drove off I started tearing up myself.

Phew, what mixed emotions sad to go but happy to be going on holliday. You see my parents baught me and trev 3 nights accom in melbourne for Xmas last year and we decided to use it on the way to SA. I've been looking forward to this for AGES!!!! We went to Melb for 3 days and went to the zoo and casino, shopping, and just general wandering. Then we took off down the Great Ocean Road towards SA. The GOR was just as beautiful as I remembered it. I realised I love beaches. We stopped at Mt Gambier and as soon as we crossed that SA border, (with no warning whatsoever) I started feeling a bit funny, and sad then compleatly miserable and I couldn't even explain to Trev why I was crying. (I'm such a drama queen ^^) We stayed at Mt Gambier for two nights then headed off to Stirling, to be greeted by Trev's wonderful parents.

Yesterday I went looking for work at local childcare centres and stuck goild when a centre said they were looking for a full time toddler assistant. I was stoked and terrorfied when they asked me to come in the next day and have a work trial (I really wasn't expecting it!)

Today I'm feeling great not even a hit of sadness, I'm so happy to be here and I know lots of good things are going to come of being here. I did that work trial and they told me if I get the job I'll be working from 11 till 5.30 5 days a week !!!!!

And requardless of what happens I would be a relief worker till then. Next week I will be on a paid work trial in the toddler room, and the assistant manager said i had a good chance because I just compleated my diploma and they were looking for quallifieds. YAY!

So thats me at the moment.

Happy as I could be.

Week 2 of work placement is at an end and let me tell you I can't wait till it's over!

I hate working my ass off for free!

I mean if it was some kind of charity thing like meals for homeless or whatever that would be all right...but I'm expected to work as hard as the staff that get paid for doing what they do for free!

It's really, really hard.

What makes it even harder (but more fun) is NaNoWriMo.

Week One of NaNo is coming to an end and I am up to date bar today (only a thousand words to go). This is the best year for me yet, lest year I got outrageously behind in a matter of days and never managed to catch up stopping at around 10,000 words or something.

I'm having a little trouble with plot and elements of characters but I keep coming up with ideas and Skip is helping me a lot! His NaNo is really good too, he writing a Harry Potter Fan fic where Harry gets resorted into Slytherin because most of the Gryffindors are sent to Alzkaban for being death eaters, including Ron. Also Hermione is Preggers and he will become friends with Draco and go out with Parvati Patil.

6 days till my 21st birthday!

On the Friday Night I'm planning to have a dinner and pub crawl type party with my tafe friends and some other friends. Then on Saturday I'm have a small Joint party with my grandmother who is turning 90 on the 13th.


Shall go now Skip is looking over my shoulder and I have words to write!

Then there's my birthday on the 11th of November....I can't believe I'm turning 21...that just can't be true...

My grandma is going to be 90 on the 13th. ^_^

Then there's the wedding on the 26th of November.

Life in Lav'y has been pretty boring, I'm still writing my ficcy and although i may post snippets, I wont post the actual story until Its finished or almost finished.

My one pet hate is when you're reading a good H/D fic and it the author doesn't update because they've lost interest.

If I ever do manage to finish my fic, I will be so stoked with myself.

Anyway,

What else to report?

Not much really...last night a friend at school told me and some other friends all about her new Family day care experience. It sounds so neat. You don't even have to have your own house, so when lost_pencil and I get our own unit we can look into it.

ooh, and apparently my parents have 4 baby geese wandering around the yard now. They even got a chance to play with one! Of course they had to put the fence up higher so max doesn't get in...They wouldn't stand a chance against that idiot.

I miss my Max!

Going to go to the farm on the weekend to see my parents so I can catch up and hug my puppy and play with the new babies.

I'm here in South Australia now with meh Skippeh.

I really like it over here, usually when I'm here the weathers either cold or wet...or cold and wet.

Yay for wet weather!

I also like the shopping in Adelaide, its great because its much larger than Albury/Wodonga but it doesn't have the aggravation of Melbourne. Usually when you go to Melbourne everyone's all emo, life sucks, boo-hoo.

Saw "Dukes of Hazard" on Thursday and Hell, that was damn funny! So many explosions! Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville rule!
Seriously, funny movie. I give it 9.5 out of 10. Defiantly buying it on DVD.

I bough book one of Kate Forsyth's new series and realized I should have read the last 4 books of her previous series...bummer....now I have to go and buy them ^_^' It seems like a good read so far from the first couple of chapters.

Speaking of chapters I can't wait for the last chapter of Eclipse by PhoenixSong. I know she's trying her hardest...but I'm impatient Damnit! And she left us on a really mean cliffhanger! :_(

Last night was fun ^_^ Skip and I went to the pub to meet up with some of his friends, all of whom I seem to get along with well. There all really awesome people. Yeah, and I kinda got drunk on Vodka and Coke's. Also this guy did the whole "And what might you're name be?" when I was ordering a drink at the bar. XD I was fully laughing my ass off, because no one has ever tried to pick me up at a bar before. XD

Skip and I have been addicted to "Animal Crossing" lately, I wish we had the newer one, but the older one isn't so bad. I could be playing "Sims 2: University" that I bought last Monday in Adelaide, but I didn't realize you would need all the Original Sims2 cd.'s to install it, even though Sims2 is already installed on the computer. And of course we left the Sims2 cd.'s back in Victoria. *le sigh*

Anyway, might toddle off to bed then...am rather sleepy...night!

In a spurt of randomness and a touch of 'oh look it's your holidays', Skip and I have decided to run off to South Aussie Land to see his folks. And although his dad knows where coming...his mum doesn't so it should be fun. ^_^

My parents came around to see us before we left, and of course mum started ordering me around, telling me to clean the house up -_-; I love my mum...but honestly...rude much?

Anyway, I'm off to sleep, we're planning on getting up at like 9.30 tomorrow and it's already 1am....eep...

How on earth did I forget this...

We have a puppy!

His name is Max:




He's really quite mad, so much energy!

He was suposed to be my brothers but Kris never looked after him. I did so I say he's my puppy. But of course he seems to like my dad even though my dad hates him. Sadly I couldn't take him when I moved out so mum and dad look after him. I miss him soooo much.

I've been meaning to pst here for a long long time...but I never really got around it, and I didn't really know what to say....

So here I am a year on. I doubt anyone is checking in here any more, if anyone was in the first place... ^_^'

A lot of things have happened in my life since I last posted...

1) Adam and I broke up at the end of last year, but it's cool, because we're like friends, awkward friends, but friends just the same. As I think I said once It was such an odd realationship that in the end, both of us had no idea why we were together.

2) Around December I was getting really stressed and really depressed as we still hadn't sold the shop and my parents were working themselves into the ground. As I had moved back home I was finding it really hard to get to school and help dad out without getting paid. But luckly someone came aid and stopped me from having a compleate mental breakdown....which leads me to the third thing...

3) On the 8th of January I met Skip in person and it kind of clicked ^_~ It's so awsome, we have so much in common, we enjoy each others company, were both mad! He's so sexy! *happy sigh* Unfortunatly we lived 10 hours by car away from each other, but now he's moved down here with me and we're both living in an appartment with another friend and life is sweet.

4) Just before Skip and I decided to live together, Mum and Dad managed to sell the house and not that long after they're living at the farm perminantly and I havn't seen them both this happy in many many years. My dad had his first Fathers day away from the shop! We sat down and had lunch together. He said it was the best fathers day he'd ever had and I so happy for them.


So thats that. Life is pretty cool at the moment, $65 a week rent is not bad at all, If my work can manage to pay me all the money they owe me for once >.<. Thats another thing, It's not full time...but I have a real job at a child care centre with at least 2 rostered days a week and I usually get called in every other day anyway. It rules!

I'm still obsessed with Harry Potter, (not to mention Harry/Draco ^_~)
I LOVED HBP...(like serious squee-ing, glomping, love)

I'm still trying to write my Harry Potter fic, it's actually going pretty good (but still doesn't have a name)
